NRL Team Update: Round 23

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary has updated his 19-man squad to take on the St. George-Illawarra Dragons for their Round 23 clash tomorrow afternoon.

Kickoff for the match is at 5:30pm AEST from Leichhardt Oval, Sydney with live coverage via FOX League.

Cleary has confirmed that both Mahe Fonua (arm) and Chris Lawrence (hamstring/hand) will return for the side's must-win game with Kevin Naiqama shifting to the wing and Luke Garner back to the bench.

In-form forward Michael Chee Kam will move from the left to right edge with Lawrence's return, while Garner joins a four-forward interchange list including Alex Twal, Sauaso Sue and Matt Eisenhuth.

Robbie Rochow and Tyson Gamble have dropped out of the squad originally named during the week and will feature in the club's Intrust Super Premiership game against the Wyong Roos on Saturday.

Jacob Liddle and Malakai Watene-Zelezniak have been retained in the squad as reserves, while Zac Lomax and Jai Field have been kept as reserves by Coach Paul McGregor with an otherwise unchanged lineup.

Field could come in to the side at five-eighth with Kurt Mann named to replace Gareth Widdop in the halves.

Final team lists will be confirmed for both sides one hour prior to kickoff tomorrow (4:30pm, Saturday).
