Wests Tigers Head Coach Michael Maguire has updated his 19-man squad to take on the Brisbane Broncos on Thursday night for their Round 5 clash at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

Kickoff for the match is at 7:50pm AEST as Wests Tigers look to bounce back from last week's heartbreaking Golden Point loss to the Penrith Panthers and maintain their spot in the top eight after a promising start to the 2019 season.

With a short turnaround for Thursday's game, Maguire has confirmed Wests Tigers will remain as named on Tuesday with David Nofoaluma and Chris McQueen dropping out of the squad. Both players will feature in the club's Canterbury Cup side on Sunday as they take on the Penrith Panthers at Leichhardt Oval.

Both Elijah Taylor and Paul Momirovski have travelled with the squad to Brisbane and will remain in the squad as reserves, with final 17-man team lists to be confirmed by both sides one hour prior to kickoff tomorrow (6:50pm, Thursday).

For the Broncos, Coach Anthony Siebold has confirmed that Payne Haas will return from suspension in place of Gehamat Shibasaki, despite the prop still remaining amongst the reserves after the initial team update. James Roberts (achilles) will not play tomorrow, however, with Kotoni Staggs named once again in the centres.
