Wests Tigers halfback Jock Madden

Wests Tigers young guns will be looking for their third win in a row when they take on the Parramatta Eels at New Era Stadium in Round 6 of the Jersey Flegg Cup on Saturday afternoon.

Wests Tigers are find themselves on a good run of form after a slow start to the season in Jersey Flegg. After a dominant display against Victoria Thunderbolts and a convincing win over the Bears in recent weeks, the team will be in high spirits as they look to make it three in a row this Saturday against the Parramata Eels.

Saturday's game is certainly getting in to must-win territory for the hosts, who remain winless through the opening month and a half of the competition, while Wests Tigers could move to within one point to the top four with another win.

Wests Tigers will take plenty of confidence from last week's win over the North Sydney Bears, having dug deep in the second half to erase an early deficit. After a thrilling draw and a loss to Bulldogs in the opening two rounds, the past fortnight has been much-needed for the visitors as they look to get their season back on track.

Coach Wayne Lambkin has named an essentially unchanged starting lineup for Saturday’s game with the only changes to the squad seeing Sione Tupou come on to the bench with Senn Kane and Bryn Callaghan on standby.
