Fonua, Clark, Garner and Taylor all named for Magpies

Western Suburbs Magpies Canterbury Cup Coach Brett Hodgson has finalised his side to take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs today for their Round 11 clash at Redfern Oval.

Kickoff for the match is at 1:10pm AEST with live coverage via 9GEM.

Looking to bounce back from a last start draw against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Hodgson has named a strong side with a number of late changes.

With Dylan Smith (ankle) out injured, Watson Heleta makes a timely return from a hamstring injury to fill in at fullback while Mahe Fonua plays his first Canterbury Cup game of the year in the centres. Versatile forward Sam McIntyre also slots in to the centres with Luke Garner and Robbie Rochow named in the back row.

Joseph Ratuvakacereivalu starts in the front row alongside Oliver Clark with Elijah Taylor at lock to cap off an experienced forward pack for the Magpies today.
