Wests Tigers Head Coach Michael Maguire said his side are looking continue to their good run as they prepare to face the Sydney Roosters tomorrow night at Bankwest Stadium.

Following back-to-back wins in trying circumstances against the Cowboys and Rabbitohs, Maguire said consistency was again the focus for his side as they look to record their third straight win for the first time this season.

“It’s been a good but very focussed week," Maguire told reporters today.

"We understand where we’re at at the moment. We need to keep building on the things we’ve done over the past couple of weeks.

"We’ve had two strong performances but again we’re chasing that 80-minute performance and we know we’ll be expecting that for tomorrow.

“It was good to be able to get the win because the talk around this stadium and us coming here has been quite large," he said. "To see the boys get a win now was great, but it's about building on what we've been doing lately."

After some up-and-down performances to start the year, Maguire said the effort shown during the week continues to be something that remains the same, and expects that to hold the team in good stead over the back half of the season.

“At the end of the day, it’s about how you turn up," he said.

"Our boys have been really focussed about what we’ve been doing.

"It’s one thing I’m pleased with —  how the boys have been trying to build over the last couple of weeks and focused on how we want to build our game.

“It’s not so much about who they have and who they haven’t got — it’s more about what we’re doing. We’ve got to look at ourselves to grow on what we’ve done.

"We’ve had some good performances at times and probably have areas in our game we weren’t satisfied with so we're looking to fix that again tomorrow night."
