2019 Jersey Flegg Season Awards

Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg forward Felix Smith and centre Curtis Wilson have both picked up awards at the club's end-of-season Presentation Night this evening at Le Montage.

Smith was named the Jersey Flegg Player of the Year for 2019 while captain Wilson was named the Players' Player of the Year as voted by his teammates.

Both players featured heavily for the club's Jersey Flegg side throughout the season, with Wests Tigers winning five of their last six games of the season to finish agonisingly short of what would have been an incredible finals appearance.

A standout amongst the forwards, Smith was also rewarded with a call-up to the club's Canterbury Cup side for the final few matches of the season.

Wests Tigers would like to congratulate both Felix and Curtis on their awards!
