NRL Late Changes: Round 1

Wests Tigers Coach Michael Maguire has finalised his side to take on the St. George-Illawarra Dragons for their Round 1 clash today.

Kickoff for the match is at 6:15pm AEDT from WIN Stadium in Wollongong.

After picking up a calf injury in training yesterday, Luke Brooks has been replaced in the halves by Josh Reynolds with Michael Chee Kam coming on to the bench.

Joseph Leilua, Adam Doueihi, Billy Walters, Luciano Leilua and Zane Musgrove will all make their club debuts tonight — the second most in one game for Wests Tigers.

Paul Momirovski will warm up as 18th Man after Oliver Clark, Matt Eisenhuth and Tommy Talau all featured for the club's Canterbury Cup side, Western Suburbs Magpies, in their clash against the Dragons earlier today.

Leilua ready for emotional season opener against former teammates

With co-captain Moses Mbye not named due to injury, Benji Marshall will assume full captaincy duties tonight having recently featured as captain at WIN Stadium in New Zealand's end-of-season Test against Australia last year.

Wests Tigers have not played in Wollongoing in over a decade but come in to the clash with good form to start the year, having won their last five season openers.
