What They're Saying About: Our team for Round 3

With the return of the 2020 NRL season just around the corner, interest is certainly starting to ramp up right across the game.

From the return to training to injuries, recruitment, retention and team news, there's no shortage of talking points to keep an eye on as we count down to May 28.

This week, we look at what the rugby league world is saying about... our Round 3 team and what changes could be made from Round 2.

NRL.com predicts Round 3 team

The team at NRL.com have their say on our Round 3 team with co-captain Moses Mbye and Luke Brooks both set to return to the side.

They've gone with Mbye returning in the centres — pushing Adam Doueihi to fullback and Corey Thompson to the wing — while opting for Josh Reynolds on the bench in jersey 14 with new recruit Harry Grant out of the side.

Fox Sports predict Round 3 team

Fox Sports also think the same back-line switch could happen with Mbye returning in the centres and Doueihi moving to fullback, but have opted for new recruit Harry Grant in the number nine jumper with Reynolds on the bench.

They've also gone with the versatile Michael Chee Kam in jumper 17 with the likes of Chris Lawrence, Matt Eisenhuth and Chris McQueen out of the side.

Daily Telegraph predict Round 3 team

It's a near-identical side again predicted by the Daily Telegraph, with Mbye in the centres and Brooks returning at halfback but they've gone for the combination of Walters at nine and Grant on the bench in place of Josh Reynolds.

In their side, Chee Kam and Lawrence are vying for the final shot on the bench.
