Wests Tigers launch Community Resource Hub

Wests Tigers have officially launched its Community Resource Hub — a free platform which provides community resources for download.

The first of its kind in rugby league, the Community Resource Hub allows schools, junior league clubs, community groups and more to access free Wests Tigers community resources, programs, presentations and a range of other content.

From tips and drills you can practice in the backyard or at training to career seminars and wellbeing programs which can be shown at schools or organisations, you'll find a range of resources available from the Community Resource Hub.

It's also completely free to use, with resources for families to use at home, junior rugby league clubs or schools — even for large-scale organisations!

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe said the new initiative was an exciting one for the club and would be an invaluable asset for the wider community.

"On a personal level, I'm really excited to see the Community Resource Hub take shape and immediately attract interest," Pascoe said.

"As a club, Wests Tigers are firmly committed to enriching the lives of our community through the power of rugby league and we believe the Community Resource Hub is going to be a great tool in doing just that.

"Not only does it allow for us to have greater communication with our junior rugby league clubs, schools and other organisations, it allows us to reach areas we would never have been otherwise able to and impact people in the community.

"I'm very excited to see how the Community Resource Hub continue to evolve and the opportunities that it will create for us as a club moving forward."

The Community Resource Hub consists of four main sections, with a range of resources available for each of the following topics:

  • Wellbeing
  • Education
  • Skills and Drills
  • School Workshops

Individual resources will all have a "Download Here" link available at the bottom of the resource. By clicking on that link, the resource will appear — either as a download from the computer or an online form to be filled out.

This online form assists Wests Tigers in sending large files for presentations, while also ensuring any further relevant content can also be distributed.

Content will updated every fortnight to coincide with Wests Tigers Community programs, as well as any additional presentations which are provided.

In the future, you'll be able to pre-order resources and presentations which can be downloaded, with Wests Tigers notifying you when the content is available.
