Nominations are now open for the 12th anniversary of the annual Philips Sports Dad of the Year Award.
Your nominations will help select the 10 finalists for this year’s award, with the winner to be announced on Father’s Day.
Last year's award was won by our very own Benji Marshall, who donated his winnings to Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney.
The funds helped the facility manage the recent changes brought about by COVID-19.
“Thanks to Benji’s donation we purchased a new chest freezer to store ready-made meals for families to access while our Home For Dinner were suspended and families were limited in their capacity to go to Supermarkets," said Simone Daher (CEO, Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney)
"We also replaced all our mini bar fridges with medicine fridges for the rooms and new kitchen items and electrical items for our offsite premises."
The Phillips Sports Dad of the Year Award recognises sporting fathers who make positive impressions in the community, with previous winners donating up to $10,000 to their charity of choice.
