Three of Wests Tigers' junior representative sides enjoyed the weekend off in Round 5, however the other four sides didn’t have much luck as they weren’t able to register victories.
Western Suburbs Magpies’ SG Ball and Harold Matthews sides went down to Parramatta Eels in both grades at Kirkham Oval on Saturday.
The SG Ball team matched it with the Eels for majority of the game before the away side scored three late tries to defeat the Magpies by 14 points.
The Harold Matthews side fought hard against their top four opponents but were beaten by eight points.
Macarthur Wests Tigers also had a tough day at Kirkham Oval on Sunday, going down to Monaro Colts in both the Andrew Johns Cup and Laurie Daley Cup.

Wests Tigers Tarsha Gale Cup team enjoyed the weekend off in Round 5 and will be aiming to keep their undefeated start to the season intact when they travel to Cessnock to face Newcastle next Saturday.
Balmain Tigers’ SG Ball and Harold Matthews sides also had the bye this weekend and will now face Penrith at St Marys Leagues Stadium in both grades next weekend.
