Wests Tigers would like to extend its condolences to the family of George Stone following his recent passing.
Stone was the president of the Balmain Tigers in the late 1980s and early 1990s and was an integral member of the club.
A long-term club administrator and life-long Tiger, Stone served the club in many positions over decades of service.
He was also heavily involved with the Balmain Police Boys JRLFC, playing there as a junior before helping to restart the club in 1966.
The thoughts of all at Wests Tigers are with George's family and friends at this time.
