Judiciary Report: Round 8

Wests Tigers centre Tommy Talau will miss Saturday's clash against the Gold Coast Titans after accepting the early guilty plea for a shoulder charge offence.

Talau was hit with a grade 1 charge for his shoulder charge on Dragons centre Jack Bird during the 16-8 win over St George Illawarra Dragons on Sunday.

The centre will miss just one match and is eligible to return for Wests Tigers' clash against the Newcastle Knights at Suncorp Stadium in Magic Round.

Roosters forward Sitili Tupouniua was the only other player suspended across the NRL in Round 8 as he copped a one week ban for a shoulder charge.

Six other players were charged over the weekend, but will escape suspensions after being handed fines.
