One win outside the top eight with three rounds remaining — Wests Tigers winger David Nofoaluma says a finals finish is on the cards in 2021.

With matches against the Sharks, Panthers and Bulldogs to round out the regular season, Nofoaluma understands his side would likely need to win all three to qualify for the top eight, but they’re up for the challenge.

“It’s exciting — we’re doing everything we can to put ourselves in the finals this year,” he said.

“We have the opportunity to be the first team in a while to make the finals.”

Currently sitting outside the top eight, Wests Tigers will need to rely on other results across the NRL to go their way over the next three week, but Nofoaluma said they’re not focused on that.

“If we start worrying about what other teams are doing, it’ll affect our performances, so we’re just focusing on ourselves and I think that’s key for the next few rounds,” the winger said.

“We’ve got the Sharks this week and our attitude at training is just narrowing down how we can beat them.”
