Wests Tigers impact 10,000 students at 2022 Community Blitz

Wests Tigers were thrilled to virtually visit over 10,000 students across 57 schools during the club’s massive Community Blitz this week!

The Wests Tigers NRL squad, along with players form the Women’s Wests Tigers team, delivered virtual learning workshops with the assistance of Wests Tigers Community staff.

Wests Tigers Game Development and Community interacted with local Wests Tigers primary schools located within the inner west and south west regions of Sydney.

Hosted at the Wests Tigers Elite Training Facility in Concord, the online learning workshop was delivered via a livestream platform and discussed themes such as teamwork, communication and the upcoming junior league season.

Wests Tigers Virtual Blitz

Players shared their insights about working together as a team as well as learning and supporting each other to achieve common goals and ensure students create an inclusive environment wherever they are.

Wests Tigers Community and Game Development staff visited each school to deliver Wests Tigers community packages so they can ‘tigerize’ their learning space in preparation for their workshop with their Wests Tigers heroes.
