Wests Tigers are proud to announce Brydens Lawyers will extend their support of the club to the Wests Tigers Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership and Tarsha Gale Cup teams.
Brydens Lawyers will become the Official Major Sponsor of the club’s women’s program with branding to appear on the front and centre of both playing jerseys.
It gives Wests Tigers great pleasure to announce this partnership on International Women’s Day — a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, political and sporting achievements of women.
With the growth of women’s rugby league across the Inner West, South West Sydney and the Southern Highlands, Wests Tigers are committed to the women’s game and providing pathways for girls to progress from 13 years of age through to the senior competitions.
Through the Roar Academy — the first of its kind amongst NRL clubs — Wests Tigers have a purpose to nurture and foster an environment which develops and retains more female players within the club, so we are ready for admission into the NRLW competition.

The support and commitment from Brydens Lawyers further demonstrates the belief and trust in where the club is headed within the women’s game, as well as further financial backing from a major brand, with KFC also joining the club’s Women’s program in 2022.
"Brydens Lawyers has been honoured by partnering with many sporting organisations to help promote and sponsor sport throughout our community. We are, however, particularly proud of our engagement in women's sport,” Brydens Lawyers Principal Lee Hagipantelis said.
“We can now add to our stable of sporting stars the Wests Tigers Tarsha Gale and Harvey Norman women's teams. It is my honour that we will be sponsoring these teams in season 2022 and they, like the men's NRL squad, will adorn the Brydens Lawyers logo across the front of their jumpers.
“I could not think of better ambassadors for my firm than the women who represent the Wests Tigers. It seems most appropriate that on International Women's Day we acknowledge women's sport in a very real and meaningful way. I wish all the women who represent Wests Tigers and Brydens Lawyers the very best for season 2022."
Wests Tigers are set for a big season across the women’s competitions, with the Tarsha Gale Cup having started the season strongly across the opening month, while the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership will kick-off in April following the NRLW season. Wests Tigers will also field a team in the U17s Lisa Fiaola competition, which will take place in the September school holidays.
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe shared his gratitude towards Brydens Lawyers for their continued partnership and added support towards the women’s game.
“On behalf of all at Wests Tigers, I’d like to thank Brydens Lawyers for their ongoing support to this great club and now their further commitment to the women’s program,” Pascoe said.
“Wests Tigers have built a terrific relationship with Principal Lee Hagipantelis, General Manager Vicki Lajch and the entire team at Brydens Lawyers, and this has achieved wonderful outcomes for both organisations.
“As the club celebrates and recognises International Women’s Day, this partnership demonstrates the belief and trust in where the club is headed within the women’s game from both Wests Tigers and Brydens Lawyers.”
As a club, Wests Tigers have strategically focused on ensuring we build a sustainable pathways for all women within this club to enable we can become a real force in the women’s competition for many years to come.
