Luciano Leilua will play his 50th NRL game for the Wests Tigers against Parramatta on Easter Monday.
“Hey, thanks for letting me know ‘bro’, I wasn’t even aware of it. But now that I do, yeh for sure, it’s a nice one,” he said.
The 25-year-old edge forward is in his third season at the club after joining from St George Illawarra, where he made his first-grade debut in 2016.
Leilua has only missed a handful of games since arriving at the club and is one of only three players to have played all 24 games last season. Luke Brooks and David Nofoaluma, the others.
The team heads into Monday’s match still chasing its first win of the season and Leilua expects another tough assignment after a poor result last Sunday, “I’m think we’ll see a really good performance from our boys on Monday.
“We’ve trained hard. We’ve trained well.
“There are a lot of things we’ve worked on to improve after a disappointing game at Cronulla. A few team changes too.”
