Wests Tigers will return to one of their spiritual home grounds on Friday evening as they face off against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Leichhardt Oval.
The joint-venture fought valiantly against the Cowboys in Magic Round, but will be looking to build some winning momentum in front of a raucous home crowd.
With Luke Brooks sidelined by a hamstring injury, Jock Madden will partner Jackson Hastings in the halves while Jacob Liddle returns in the place of Jake Simpkin.
Fa’amanu Brown has been named as the bench utility and is set to make his first NRL appearance in 1069 days.
He may be joined in the side by former Bulldogs centre Brent Naden, who signed a two-year deal with Wests Tigers on Tuesday and has been named on the extended bench.
Following the resignation of Trent Barrett earlier this week, former Wests Tigers coach Michael Potter will lead the Bulldogs in their first match against the black-and-gold at Leichhardt Oval.
Wests Tigers have won three of their last four encounters against the Bulldogs and will be eager to further improve that record on Friday night.
