The Beyond Blue Cup is in safe hands for the next twelve months after a wonderful night for Wests Tigers last Friday.
The team’s sole focus is now on its next mission against South Sydney on Saturday, but it’s timely to thank all those who helped make the 2022 Beyond Blue Cup such a big success.
Wests Tigers collected the all-important two Telstra Premiership points after defeating Canterbury 36-22 but there are several other successes to reflect on and celebrate.
Club CEO Justin Pascoe has thanked the Bulldogs for their partnership in the annual event, and those at his own club who ‘played their role.”
“We are extremely proud to be able to support Beyond Blue, a partnership that has been ongoing since 2016 to promote mental health awareness.
This year’s event again showed just how invested we are in this cause, and I would also like to thank the Bulldogs for being great sports and playing their part as well.”

Our own team was behind the event one hundred percent, and there were a few players who were more than happy to help promote the growing awareness of mental health. Well done fellas.”
Luke Garner, Jake Simpkin, Alex Seyfarth and Jacob Liddle were all Beyond Blue Ambassadors this year, supporting the campaign to ‘play your role’.
Pascoe has also thanked those in the 15-thousand strong crowd who braved the conditions last Friday night at Leichhardt.
It was a tremendous night on many fronts and our fans again showed why they are the best in the business.”

They gave Alex (Twal) a night to remember in his one hundredth game, we won the Beyond Blue Cup, and we had a terrific turn out.”
