Wests Tigers and the NRL are together lending their support to the Wollondilly Shire, following the tragic road accident which claimed the lives of five teenagers in September.
The local community is still mourning the loss of the Picton High School students, aged between 14 and 16 years, after the horrific road accident in Buxton.
Wests Tigers, in conjunction with the NRL and Wollondilly Shire Council, had planned a community engagement day at Picton Sportsground last month, but were forced to reschedule the event due to inclement weather.
This community engagement day will now be held on Saturday 19th November.
Wests Tigers Community team will be joined by several players including Botille Vette-Welsh, Sophie Curtain, Rebecca Pollard and Ebony Prior, as well as senior Pathways personnel Matthew Betsey, Brett Kimmorley and Shannon Gallant.
Wests Tigers Life Member John Skandalis and former NRL stars Clinton Toopi and Alan Tongue will also be in attendance.
The Wests Tigers Footy Fest will include a range of activities including League Tag, fun and games for the kids, jumping castles and a BBQ – with a carnival feel to the day.
