Players and staff will again be spreading Christmas joy to children in South Western Sydney Local Health District in December, handing out presents to kids at both Campbelltown and Liverpool Hospitals.

The Christmas cheer will extend further south with a trip to Bowral Hospital on 9th December.

Wests Tigers will hold a BBQ for about 250 hospital staff and patients as well as distribute more gifts through the hospital’s maternity and paediatric wards.

Wests Tigers Foundation and Community Engagement Officer, Grace Hull is leading the Christmas Toy Drive, and says it’s something the club loves to do each year.

“Wests Tigers Foundation makes it possible for us to engage at many worthwhile events across the year, and this another example of how our club gives back to the community.

The players really enjoy visiting the children and are always quick to volunteer their time.

Community Engagement Officer, Grace Hull

"I think it’s a rewarding experience for our players because they see first-hand how much their visits mean to the children.”
