It's a strong line-up to face the Raiders which includes most of the players who did not play in last weekend's trial against the Warriors in Auckland.

Daine Laurie and Brent Naden both come into the starting side after playing for the Indigenous All Stars last weekend, while David Klemmer, Isaiah Papali'i and Will Smith will make their first appearance for the club.

The club is taking a precautionary approach in resting new captain Api Koroisau and half-back Luke Brooks, in readiness for Round 1.

Brooks is fully recovered from a lower leg injury, while Koroisau pulled up a little tight in the calf after training last week.

Joe Ofahengaue (calf) is also fully recovered but is being rested for Sunday's trial.
