Wests Tigers are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Western Suburbs Magpies player, Kyle White.

The former Wests, Canterbury, and Illawarra forward passed away in his sleep at his home in Penrith on Monday night, aged 53.

White made 35 first grade appearances for the Magpies between 1992 and 1995, following three years at Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, and later played one season with Illawarra Steelers.

Kyle's younger brother Josh, who also played for Western Suburbs, posted this on social media.

“He was a tough player on the field and knew how to have a good time off it. We have had a lot of ups and downs over the years but he is my brother and (I) will always love him."

Wests Tigers extend its sincere condolences to the White family.
