Match Report: NSW Cup Round 13 vs Rabbitohs

Wests Magpies have suffered a 30-8 loss to South Sydney Rabbitohs in Round 13 of the Knock On Effect NSW Cup at Redfern Oval.

The Bunnies bounced out to a 12-nil lead after just eight minutes before centre Josh Feledy crashed over to score the Magpies first points of the match.

Rabbitohs captain Chase Chapman scored his team’s third try, converted by Brent Hawkins, to have the home side ahead 18-4 at half time.

Next up for the Magpies is a home game against the Raiders at Lidcombe Oval on Saturday 8th June.

The Magpies were first on the board in the second half through centre Steven Taupau Sako, but the Bunnies finished far stronger.

Second rower Maila Aluni-Chanfoon and hooker Ryan Gray each grabbed a double to round off a five-tries-to-two victory.
