Report: NSW Cup Round 11 vs Rabbitohs

Wests Magpies have returned to winning ways after scoring a 24-6 win over the Rabbitohs at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Leading 12-0 at half-time, a strong second half from the Magpies ensured they secured their third win of the 2025 season.

It was Luke Jack who grabbed the first points of the afternoon, as Krystian Mapapalangi set up the charging back-rower for his second try in three matches in the NSW Cup.

In a tight and gritty first-half, there were no further scores until the 38th minute, when Josh Feledy showcased his strength to fight his way to the line.

Leading 12-0 at the break, the Magpies scored an outstanding try to extend their lead in the 48th minute, with some second-phase play allowing Heath Mason to break the line and offload to a flying Solomona Faataape.

Faataape grabbed a second shortly after when he cleaned up a loose ball from a Magpies bomb.

Sean Keppie scored late-on for the visitors, with Lewis Dodd’s conversion proving to be the final points of the afternoon at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

Magpies 24 (Faataape 2, Jack, Feledy tries; Falls 4/5 goals) defeated Rabbitohs 6 (Keppie try; Dodd 1/1 goal) at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.
