Wests Tigers are delighted to announce the signing of former New Zealand rugby sevens player Terina Te Tamaki for the upcoming NRLW season.

The 28-year-old outside back officially joined the squad last week following her arrival from New Zealand, where she has been part of their national rugby sevens system for the past nine years.
A dynamic and versatile player, Te Tamaki brings a wealth of experience to the club, having represented her country numerous times on the international stage.
Terina received an Olympic silver medal as part of the NZ Sevens team at the 2016 Rio Olympics, becoming, at that time, the youngest female Olympic medallist from New Zealand.

“I’m excited to join the Wests Tigers for my first ever season of league,” said Te Tamaki.
I’m lucky to be surrounded by an awesome team who’ve been super helpful with the transition.

“I’m really looking forward to what this season has in store for our side.”
Wests Tigers NRLW Head Coach Brett Kimmorley says Te Tamaki is a welcome addition to the squad.
Terina’s experience will add so much to our side, she’s been a well-established and high-quality athlete for a long time now.
