Zurich Insurance, in partnership with Wests Tigers, is once again helping foster the next generation of rugby league stars through this year’s Grassroots to Greatness initiative.

Now in its third season, Grassroots to Greatness is an NRLW-led community program designed to give back to junior rugby league clubs, promote healthy and active lifestyles, and strengthen bonds between grassroots footy and the elite level of the game.
This season’s prize is bigger and better than ever.
The winning junior club will receive a Train Like a Tiger experience with members of the Wests Tigers NRLW squad, along with 100 training balls, 10 ball bags, and 200 training bibs to help support their ongoing development.
Clubs can nominate themselves each week of the NRLW season via the official campaign website here, with one lucky winner to be announced at the conclusion of the NRLW campaign.

The Grassroots to Greatness initiative reflects Zurich’s commitment to building strong connections with communities and supporting both junior and elite levels of rugby league.
“We’re thrilled to continue our Grassroots to Greatness initiative with the Tigers again this NRLW season”, said Linda Griffin, Head of Brand, Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Zurich Australia & New Zealand.
At Zurich, we know that community sporting clubs are often the heart soul of their local community, and this initiative provides an opportunity to give back to one deserving local rugby league club in a big way.

“We’re passionate about investing in, and supporting women’s sport, and through this initiative with the Tigers NRLW team, we aim to shine a spotlight on community participation at a junior level and inspire the next generation of players.”
Wests Tigers Chief Commercial Officer Peter Lang said the program continues to strengthen the bond between the club, its partners, and the community.
“It’s fantastic to once again partner with Zurich on this initiative, which is all about giving back to the grassroots clubs that form the heartbeat of our game,” Lang said.
Wests Tigers NRLW Captain Kezie Apps echoed Lang's sentiments:
The program also motivates our NRLW players to perform at their best, knowing that every effort on the field can help inspire and support the next generation of young players.
