Wests Tigers would like to congratulate Luke Laulilii, Heamasi Makasini, Evie McGrath and Ella Walker on their selections in the NSW Under 19s squads.

The matches will take place on Thursday, June 19 at Sunshine Coast Stadium.
Laulilii’s selection in the squad comes after already featuring in seven NRL games.
The 18-year-old local junior has scored four tries in the top grade, impressing with his strong carries and finishing ability.
Luke has also shone at NSW Cup level for Western Suburbs in recent weeks, including Round 13's match where he ran for 252 metres, scored a try and posted three try assists.

Evie McGrath is another who has been selected after already making her top grade debut.
The five-eighth played in three NRLW matches last season and helped the side on their way to wins in the last two games of the 2024 campaign.
McGrath was a try-scorer in last year’s 46-4 Under 19s Origin win over QLD after playing in that match a year young.

Heamasi Makasini joins the NSW Under 19s setup a year young, as the highly talented centre continues his upward career trajectory.
Makasini is the reigning Harold Matthews Cup Player of the Year after helping the Magpies to a Grand Final appearance in 2024.
He has featured at SG Ball Cup level for Wests in 2025.

Ella Walker was a standout for the Wests Tigers’ Tarsha Gale Cup team that reached Week 2 of Finals this year.
A powerful front-rower, Walker was a member of the 2024 Australian Schoolgirls squad.
She also featured for the NSW City Under 19s team earlier this season.

Congratulations to all four of our young stars.
