Wests Tigers have fallen to a 12-4 defeat to St. George Illawarra in their NRLW trial on Sunday afternoon.

In a solid final hit-out before season kick-off in two weeks time, the majority of the extended squad received minutes in the match at Leichhardt Oval.
The Dragons scored first when Teagan Berry darted over from dummy half, before extending their lead through Margot Vella as she raced down the right touchline.
With no conversions taken in this trial match, the score remained 8-0 at half-time.
Both teams called upon their extended squads in the second half, with almost two completely new sides emerging after the break.
Wests Tigers started fast in the second period, as front-rower Tiresa Leasuasu scored from dummy half to bring the home side within one try.

St. George Illawarra went on to extend their lead though, when left centre Keele Browne powered over.
Browne’s try was to be the final points of the afternoon, as the Dragons emerged victorious, 12-4.
Dragons 12 (Berry, Vella, Browne tries) defeated Wests Tigers 4 (Leasuasu try) at Leichhardt Oval.
