Match Preview: NRL Round 17 vs Sea Eagles

Wests Tigers will look to get back into the winners circle in Round 17, as they take on the Manly Sea Eagles this Friday night.

Both teams will be out to reignite their respective seasons, with Wests Tigers in 14th place on 14 competition points and Manly just outside the eight in 10th spot, on 16 points.

In team news, Jahream Bula’s hamstring strain means Heath Mason shifts to fullback, with impressive youngster Latu Fainu set to start in the halves with Jarome Luai for the first time.

Jack Bird starts in the second row this week, with Alex Seyfarth moving to the bench, as does Tony Sukkar, who was the 18th player reserve in Round 16.

Luke Laulilii will take the 18th player role this week after featuring for NSW in the Under 19s Origin match last Thursday.
