His influence can be demonstrated by his role as a mentor at Redfern Youth Connect (RYC), a charity not-for-profit helping provide support, skills and activities for vulnerable Aboriginal youth.
His involvement with this program, which ranges from participating in sporting activities to providing one-on-one mentoring, has led to a growth in attendance and engagement for the invaluable after-hours service.

Jahream has been a regular at RYC for years before his NRL journey began, and his efforts to remain engrained in the program demonstrate his passion and commitment toward supporting the next generation.
Bula’s Indigenous and Pasifika heritage has also given him a strong influence in the club’s cultural events.
Jahream has participated in Wests Tigers’ NAIDOC Week and Indigenous Round initiatives, completing school visits and being involved in the club’s Indigenous Jersey launches. He was also in attendance at the inaugural Wests Tigers Pasifika Youth Summit in December, inspiring students with his presence and cultural pride.

Additionally, the 23-year-old was a part of the working group that organised the NRL squad’s Cultural Night celebration, where the entire team and their families gathered to celebrate each other’s cultural backgrounds.
As part of the Wests Tigers Club Ambassador program, Jahream has provided a strong presence at All Saints Liverpool JRLFC. Coaches and parents are invariably quick to praise his interactions with the young players, often offering advice and providing encouragement.
Jahream’s strong values and dedication to go above and beyond in fostering his community make him a truly valued member of the Wests Tigers family.
