Portia Bourke joins Wests Tigers

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of Portia Bourke for the remainder of the 2025 season.

The 24-year-old second-rower joins the squad as an injury replacement for forward Claudia Brown.

Bourke has played 25 matches in the senior Queensland state competition, the BMD Premiership; most recently impressing for the Norths Devils in 2024-25.

The Queenslander also has experience playing in the NSW Women’s Premiership for the Rabbitohs in 2024.

Portia is delighted to join the Wests Tigers NRLW family.

“I’m really excited Wests Tigers have given me this opportunity,” said Bourke.

“It’s a dream come true and I can’t wait to give my all, on and off the field, and make my family proud.”

Head Coach Brett Kimmorley is pleased to add a player of Bourke’s quality into the squad.

“We're really pleased to have Portia join the group,” said Kimmorley.

“She's an experienced player who has worked really hard for this opportunity and she'll add a lot to our squad.”
