The Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of young forward, Ethan Roberts on a two-year deal.

A NSW City U18s representative, Roberts has appeared for the Roosters at Harold Matthews, SG Ball, Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup level.
The Paddington Colts junior also featured for the Roosters in the NRL Pre-Season Challenge and found himself in the extended NRL squad on several match days throughout the regular season.
The 195cm Indigenous All Star can play as both an edge and middle forward and at 20 years-of-age is a highly regarded prospect.
Roberts will join the Wests Tigers on a Development deal in 2026, before moving into the Top 30 in 2027.
Roberts’ signing follows the recent announcements of Javon Andrews, Mavrik Geyer and Jock Madden – in addition to the re-signing of Adam Doueihi – as the club continues to strengthen its depth ahead of the 2026 NRL season.

Speaking on joining the Wests Tigers, Roberts said he was looking forward to the opportunity.
“I’m really excited to work under Benji and alongside a great group of players,” Roberts said.
“Coming to the Wests Tigers is about my growth as a player both on and off the field and making a strong contribution to the culture and values of the club.
I’m looking forward to getting in for pre-season and beginning my journey with the Tigers.

Wests Tigers Head Coach, Benji Marshall said Roberts’ arrival at Concord would strengthen his squad’s depth in 2026 and beyond.
“It’s great to have a player of Ethan’s talent joining us in 2026,” Marshall said.
“We’re building an environment where players want to come and develop themselves and be part of the direction we’re heading.

“The group are looking forward to welcoming Ethan and his family into our club in 2026,” Marshall concluded.
