The Wests Tigers have secured the services of Starford To’a for a further two seasons, with the damaging outside back putting pen to paper on a contract extension.

To’a – already contracted for 2026 – will now remain at Concord until the end of the 2028 NRL season.
Now in his fourth season in the orange, black and white, the Tongan international has proven an integral part of Benji Marshall’s backline – with seven try assists and nine tries in 16 appearances in 2025.

The 25-year-old has made 59 appearances for the Tigers since joining in 2022, bouncing back strongly from a 2024 campaign that was hampered by injury.
It’s another signing coup for the Wests Tigers, following the re-signing of Adam Doueihi and the pending arrivals of Mavrik Geyer, Jock Madden, Kai Pearce-Paul and Ethan Roberts in 2026.
Wests Tigers Head Coach, Benji Marshall welcomed the extension of To’a’s contract.

“We are super excited to keep Starford and his family at the club for another 2 years,” Marshall said.
“He has shown how much potential he has over the past few seasons and we can’t wait for him to fulfil that here with us at the Wests Tigers.
“He is a pleasure to coach and a really good person that we love having at our club,” Marshall concluded.

To’a said he was happy to be extending his stay at Concord.
“I love being a part of this group and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead,” To’a said.
“I’m grateful for the opportunities that Benji has provided me and to now have my future secured at the Tigers.”
