Wests Tigers sign Ruby Fifita for remainder of 2025 season

Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the signing of Ruby Fifita for the remainder of the 2025 NRLW season.

The 25-year-old forward joins the club after featuring for Tweed Seagulls in the BMD Premiership this season, averaging 108 metres per game.

An injury replacement for front-rower Christian Pio, Fifita is capable of playing as a middle and edge forward.

She joins the club on the back of attending the 2025 NRLW Rising Talent Combine in Newcastle earlier this month.

The sister of Titans outside back Jojo Fifita, Ruby is delighted to join Wests Tigers.

“I’m very excited to be part of the Wests Tigers family and can’t wait to take this next step in my journey,” said Fifita.

Playing in the NRLW is a dream of mine and I’m truly grateful for the chance to do that alongside such amazing people.

“I’m eager to keep learning, give my best every day and contribute to something really special.”

NRLW Head Coach Brett Kimmorley is pleased to bring Ruby on board for the remainder of the season.

“Ruby was really impressive at the Rising Talent Combine in Newcastle, so we were definitely keen to bring her on board.

“We’re looking forward to seeing what she can do as part of our NRLW squad.”
