After trailing 12-8 at half-time, the visitors ran away with the result after the break.
Cowboys co-captain Emma Manzelmann opened the scoring, with the dummy half dummying and stepping her way through from nearly 40 metres out to score a superb solo try.
Pihuka Berryman-Duff ensured Manzelmann wasn’t the only #9 to get her name on the scoresheet, as the utility forward powered her way over from dummy half to get Wests Tigers on the board in the 12th minute.
Just three minutes later though, Kirra Dibb’s dummying effort put the Queensland outfit up by eight points.
An improvised scrambling play on the last tackle then allowed Lily Rogan to collect her first NRLW try in the corner for Wests Tigers, making the score 12-8 at the break.

The second half was all the Cowboys though, as China Polata scored on her comeback from an ACL injury, followed by four-pointers to Jasmine Peters and Jakiya Whitfeld.
The final score read 30-8 in Round 8 of the NRLW on a dreary Sunday night at Leichhardt Oval.
Cowboys 30 (Manzelmann, Dibb, Polata, Peters, Whitfeld tries; Dibb 5/5 goals) defeated Wests Tigers 8 (Berryman-Duff, Rogan tries; Bass 0/1, Savill 0/1 goals) at Leichhardt Oval.
