The Wests Tigers are pleased to announce the re-signing of Caitlin Turnbull on a four-year deal, keeping the up-and-coming fullback at the Club until the end of the 2029 NRLW season.

The confirmation of Turnbull’s new deal comes fresh off the back of a three-try performance for the Prime Minister’s XIII in their 50-0 victory over the PNG Orchids Prime Minister’s XIII in Port Moresby over the weekend.
It was a first representative call up for Turnbull, who again demonstrated her versatility with a strong performance on the wing for Head Coach, Jess Skinner.
Turnbull’s performance in Port Moresby capped off an incredible debut season in the NRLW, in which she was awarded the Club’s NRLW Rookie of the Year and named NRLW Players’ Player at the Wests Tigers 2025 Gala Awards.
The 24-year-old played 10 matches, scoring 8 tries and running for 1,296 metres (an average of 129 per game) while making 41 tackle breaks and 8 line breaks – establishing herself as one of the side’s most dangerous weapons in attack.

Having started the season on the wing, Turnbull made the switch to fullback mid-way through the season and continued to impress in both attack and defence, marking a seamless transition to top tier football.
On signing her new deal, Turnbull said she was delighted to be remaining at Concord.
“I’m excited to have my future locked in at the Tigers, I’ve loved my first season and can’t wait to be a part of what’s building here,” Turnbull said.
We’ve got a great culture amongst our group, which has been so enjoyable to be a part of.

“My teammates were amazing in helping me transition into the NRLW and I’m so grateful for their support, I can’t wait to get out there with them again in 2026.
“I’m very thankful to the Club for the opportunity they provided me this season and the faith they placed in me throughout the year. I’ve grown and developed so much as a result and I’m looking forward to continuing that journey with the Tigers,” Turnbull concluded.
Incoming Wests Tigers NRLW Head Coach, Craig Sandercock said he was pleased to see Turnbull remain at the Club long-term.
“A really important signing for us. Caitlin has been so impressive this season, particularly when you consider it was her first at NRLW level,” Sandercock said.
“The accolades she received at the Club’s Gala Awards only reiterate that fact and she has clearly made a big impact both on and off the field, establishing herself as an integral member of our squad.

“It’s great to have Caitlin here at the Tigers for the next four seasons. I’m excited at the prospect of working with her,” Sandercock concluded.
