The 19-year-old – who has played throughout the Penrith Panthers system – arrives at Concord following a strong 2025, having made his SG Ball Cup, Jersey Flegg Cup and Knock on Effect NSW Cup all in the same season.
This follows Attard’s selection in the 2024 Australian Schoolboys squad, courtesy of an outstanding Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League (ASSRL) Championship campaign, which included a dominant Grand Final performance, as he led NSW Combined Catholic Colleges to a 40-12 win over NSW Combined High Schools.
Attard was joined on the Australian Schoolboys tour by Wests Tigers Pathways player, Jared Haywood, with the pair set to be part of the first wave of returning players for the 2026 pre-season.
On signing his new deal, Attard said he was looking forward to meeting his teammates and getting started with his new Club.
“Very excited to be joining the Wests Tigers and ripping in with the boys to kick off pre-season,” Attard said.
“After speaking with Benji and seeing what’s been happening around the Club, I’m looking forward to what’s ahead and being part of this group. There’s a lot of great players and coaches here at the Tigers and I’m keen to learn as much as I can and continue to improve my game,” Attard concluded.
Wests Tigers Head Coach, Benji Marshall welcomed Attard’s arrival to the Club.
“A great young kid who we’re really happy to have joining us this year,” Marshall said.
“Jack will be a great fit for our group. He’s got a lot of talent but also a really good young character who wants to develop and grow as player.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming Jack and his family into the Club and getting started with pre-season,” Marshall concluded.
