Wests Tigers add representative duo to NRLW roster

The Wests Tigers are pleased to confirm the Club has secured the services of experienced duo, Shenai Lendill and Holli Wheeler for the 2026 NRLW season.

Hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Shenai Lendill joins the Wests Tigers on a two-year deal after a standout 2025 NRLW campaign for the St George Illawarra Dragons, which saw her rewarded with selection in the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII squad that travelled to Papua New Guinea.

The versatile second-rower arrives at Concord having amassed 29 NRLW appearances, including eleven during the 2025 season, where she topped the competition with 28 passing offloads, made 251 tackles and 718 running metres.

Lendill said she was looking to further her game under the guidance of Craig Sandercock and his team.

“You can see the direction the Club is heading in the NRLW and it’s exciting to be involved. It’s a really strong squad that’s coming together for 2026 and it’ll be great place for me to continue my development.

“I’ve had the chance to play with and against a big part of this squad and I’m excited about the opportunity ahead. I can’t wait to get together for pre-season and get started.”

An Australian and NSW representative, Holli Wheeler is one of the most experienced and revered players in the NRLW with 46 appearances to her name.

The 35-year-old arrives at Concord from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs as a three-time Grand Finalist. The hard-working middle – who has signed a one-year contract with the Club – can play in the front row and at lock and is renowned as a player who leads by her actions and proved that again throughout 2025, with 387.3 post contact metres from 956 total run metres,  288 tackles and an average 10.2 hit ups across nine games.

Wheeler said it was exciting to be part of a new era for the NRLW program at the Club.

“All the conversations I’ve had with the Club have been really positive and you can already see the what’s happening with the NRLW squad and program.

“I want to contribute to the growth of this group both on and off the field and ensure we can take this team to where we want it to be. It’s an exciting opportunity but also a big challenge that I’m very much looking forward to.”

Wests Tigers NRLW Head Coach, Craig Sandercock welcomed the arrival of the experienced duo to Concord.

“Holli and Shenai are significant inclusions for us and give us a nice balance of emerging, established and experienced players,” Sandercock said.

“Securing Holli is a real coup for the Club. She’s been a mainstay in the NRLW and is not only an outstanding player, but a quality individual who has all the values we’re looking to instill in our  squad moving forward.

“Shenai is coming off a big season in 2025 and brings plenty to our set-up both on and off the field and we see her playing an important role in the group.

“It's exciting to see how the squad has come together and I’m looking forward to working with the group as we build towards the new season,” concluded Sandercock.

Lendill and Wheeler join Emily Bass, Portia Bourke, Harmony Crichton, Pihuka Berryman-Duff, Namoe Gesa, Shaniece Monschau, Leah Ollerton, Tara Reinke, Terina Te Tamaki and Caitlin Turnbull who have all re-signed with West Tigers during off-season.

In addition to these 12 players, West Tigers squad for 2026 will also feature Jillaroos captain Kezie Apps and Kiwi Ferns captain, Raecene McGregor
