The Balmain Tigers will face fellow Wests Tigers Pathways U19 side, the Western Suburbs Magpies in a Round 4 clash of the 2026 UNE SG Ball Cup during the West Tigers Club Day at Kirkham Oval.
The team will be looking to bounce back with a strong performance, following a tough loss to competition leaders, the Parramatta Eels in Round 3.
Roy Asotasi’s side started strongly, taking a 12-6 lead inside the opening exchanges. However, momentum shifted after the half-hour mark, with the Tigers eventually falling 54-12.
Despite the result, prop Isaac Perkins and lock Ryan Mackander were standout performers in both attack and defence. The pair will look to carry that form into this weekend’s match.
