The Western Suburbs Magpies will host fellow Wests Tigers Pathway side, the Balmain Tigers at Camden’s Kirkham Oval this Saturday.
The match forms part of Wests Tigers Club Day, which sees representative teams from across the Club’s Pathway facing off.
The Magpies come off a narrow loss to the South Sydney Rabbitohs in their last start. Despite the result, there were plenty of positives, including a strong performance from Terowie Golding-Lyons.
It was a costly late penalty that gave the Rabbitohs an attacking opportunity, resulting in a decisive try in the final two minutes, breaking the 10-10 deadlock with the match finishing 16-10 in favour of the hosts.
It will be a determined squad taking the field under the guidance of Head Coach, Pat Richards, as they strive for a winning performance this weekend to keep their season alive.
