The Western Suburbs Magpies will clash with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Kirkham Oval this Saturday afternoon for Round 7 of the UNE SG Ball Cup.
They’ll be looking to return to their winning ways following last round's difficult defeat to the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.
After conceding points early, the Magpies did well to wrestle their way back into the contest and notch up a try of their own. However, Manly proved too strong in the second half, running away 44-26 winners.
The Magpies have come out on top in two of their last three encounters and will be eager to piece together a clinical performance at home.
Head Coach, Nathan Lakeman has made a few adjustments to his starting lineup, including Cortez Kirkpatrick starting on the wing and Cruz Tauaifaiga coming from the interchange last week to start at prop.
