The Wests Tigers will be taking on the Penrith Panthers at Henson Park this Sunday in the opening week of Finals for the Westpac Lisa Fiaola Cup.
After a hard-fought 18-8 loss to the Central Coast Roosters at Leichhardt Oval over Easter, the Tigers ended their regular season in eighth position with an even 4-4 win/loss record.
Latu Fifita’s side will face the Panthers for the first time this year as the Tigers are in the Metropolitan Conference of the competition whereas Penrith are in the Regional.
Dawn Tui will be aiming to captain her side to victory alongside top performers from the season in halfback, Charlotte Withers and second rower, Kalani Godinet.
Fifita has named a largely unchanged starting lineup from the final round of the regular season.
