Tigers go down to Sea Eagles in Brisbane

The Wests Tigers fell 46-18 to the Manly Sea Eagles at Suncorp Stadium in their Magic Round clash.

What they said
NRL Head Coach, Benji Marshall
“We’re not playing the footy we want to play. We’re lacking a bit of resilience, and we weren’t good enough today.”

“The bye next week is coming at a really good time for us. We're a bit wounded. We had a bye in round one, and we've played 10 games straight since, so we're stinging for it at the moment. It’s a really good time for us to reset.”

Captain, Jarome Luai

“The hardest thing to do right now is to be positive, but that's what I need to do for my teammates — address it head-on, walk towards this challenging period, and work it out ourselves. We’re the only people that can dig ourselves out of this.”
