The Western Suburbs Magpies return to Lidcombe Oval this Sunday at 12:00pm, hosting the Penrith Panthers for Round 14 of the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup.
Collecting the two points after last round’s high-scoring encounter with the Bulldogs, the Magpies bring plenty of confidence into their clash with the ladder-leading Panthers.
The Magpies flew out of the blocks with two tries in the first seven minutes before a strong second half saw them claim a 38-26 triumph.
The backline remains unchanged, with Solomone Saukuru back on the wing after last week's four-try haul.
The NRL call-up of Bunty Afoa and Mavrik Geyer makes way for Lachlan Broederlow and Vaka Aho to start in the front row, as well as Bailey Hodges who comes in for Charlie Murray.
Mitchell Taotua fills in for Ethan Roberts in the second row, with Josese Lanyon and Ieti Samuelu inclusions on the interchange bench.
