The Wests Tigers are back at home this week, hosting the Parramatta Eels at Lidcombe Oval on Sunday for Round 22 of the Jersey Flegg Cup.
Kicking off at 11.00am, they’ll be eager to string back-to-back wins together after last week’s comeback victory over the Raiders.
Conceding twice in the opening exchanges, the Tigers fell 12-0 down before a first-half double to Mitchell Taotua levelled the scores and another try to Lenny Plati on the stroke of half-time gave them a half-time lead.
Falling behind just five minutes into the second half, the Tigers fought back again to come home strong and seal a 34-26 road win.
The backline sees a pair of changes with Logan Brookes named at fullback and Jack Nicholas coming in on the wing.
Pheonix Godinet returns to the starting side to partner Byronn Laupepa in the second row, whilst Christian Taupau-Moors returns at prop.
