Wests Tigers captain Kezie Apps is set to make her 25th appearance for Australia this Sunday, named on the interchange bench for the Jillaroos Women’s Rugby League World Cup semi-final against Fiji Bulikula at Allianz Stadium.
Apps scored in Australia’s record 124-6 win over Wales last weekend, adding another highlight to an international career spanning more than a decade, including two World Cup victories and the honour of co-captaining her country.
The Bega Roosters junior started in her international debut against New Zealand at WIN Stadium on 9 November 2014, narrowly going down 12-8.
Apps played in all five matches of Australia’s successful 2017 World Cup campaign, which ended with a 23-16 win over New Zealand in Brisbane.
The second-rower claimed her second world title in England in 2022, sharing the captaincy with Sam Bremner and Ali Brigginshaw. She played three matches, including the 54-4 final win over New Zealand at the famous Old Trafford.
Apps continued to co-captain the Jillaroos with Brigginshaw at the 2024 and 2025 Pacific Championships.
Sunday’s milestone adds to a memorable year which has seen Apps reach 20 NSW appearances, play her 50th NRLW match and be named NRLW Dally M Captain of the Year.
Since helping the Wests Tigers win the 2022 NSW Women’s Premiership and becoming an inaugural NRLW co-captain in 2023, Apps has been a valued leader in the Club.
The Wests Tigers congratulate Kezie Apps on her 25th Australian appearance and wish her all the best this Sunday.
