Fonua joined the Wests Tigers NRL squad ahead of the 2022 season and is contracted through until 2027.
A hard-running prop, Pole was born in New Zealand and played his junior football in Victoria before moving to Sydney and working his way through the Wests Tigers pathways.
Pole made his NRL debut against the Warriors in Round 16, 2022 and has gone on to play 56 games in the top grade.
