Biography:

Terina Te Tamaki joined Wests Tigers ahead of the 2025 NRLW season, bringing a wealth of international experience from her nine-year tenure with New Zealand’s national rugby sevens program.

At just 19, she became New Zealand’s youngest female Olympic medallist, securing a silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

The dynamic outside back is set to make her NRLW debut on the wing in Round 1 against the Brisbane Broncos.

A proud Māori woman affiliated with Te Arawa, Waikato, and Ngāti Maniapoto iwi, Te Tamaki is known for her speed, agility, and infectious energy.

She expressed her enthusiasm about the transition to league, stating, “I’m lucky to be surrounded by an awesome team who’ve been super helpful with the transition” .
