Wests Tigers fullback James Tedesco told Wests Tigers TV he was happy to get through his first game in almost 12-months unscathed.
"It's great to be back out there on the field," said Tedesco.
"The knee pulled up sweet, no dramas. I just played one half to ease back into it.
"I'm pretty confident now and ready for next week.
"I'm just taking it easy, it was only one half. I'm just working my way up, I didn't have that much involvement.
"Hopefully over the next I can up my involvement and play a bit more footy.
"The boys played really well. A few of the young boys stepped up, it's just great to be back out there.
"I thought the halves and the hooker Joel Luani played really good, they lead us around well and got us a few repeat sets."
